Steps to Follow
- Verify License Requirement: Determine if your activity requires an urban planning license.
- Self-Assessment and Fee Payment: Complete the self-assessment form self-assesment formfor urban planning services fees and pay the corresponding fee. If applicable, also complete the self-assessment for the Construction, Installation, and Works Tax (ICIO) and pay any other required taxes.

- Submit Application: Submit your urban planning license application electronically via the City of Madrid’s online platform (using the Municipal Licensing System, SLIM) or in person at the relevant municipal office, using electronic identification and signature.
- Review of Application: Municipal authorities will review your application within 10 days. If the application is complete, you will be informed of the maximum resolution period and the implications of administrative silence. If the application is incomplete, you will be asked to correct it or provide additional documentation within a specified deadline.
