This service allows citizens to request specific information on urban planning matters related to plots, buildings, or premises
Steps to follow::
  1. Preliminary Research: Gather background information, including licenses, plans, or related records, for the property in question (e.g., a plot, building, or premises).
  2. Pay the Required Fee: Complete the self-assessment form for the urban planning service fee and pay using one of the accepted methods. The electronic headquarters provides the form and step-by-step payment instructions.
  3. Prepare Supporting Documents: Compile the necessary documents required for your application. These can be found under the “Documentation” tab in the procedure section on the electronic headquarters portal.
  4. Submit Your Application: Submit your general urban planning consultation request either:
    1. Online: Through the Madrid City Council’s . Municipal Licensing System (SLIM ) Online submissions require identification and an electronic signature
    2. In Person: At the appropriate municipal department or district office (Urban Development Department, Activities Agency, or District Office, as relevant)

Processing and Notification:

  • The application will be reviewed, and a technical report will be prepared by the relevant authorities.
  • You will receive a notification once the report is complete.

Important:
The response to your consultation is for informational purposes only and does not exempt you from the obligation to:

  • Obtain a required urban planning license, or
  • Submit a responsible declaration if applicable

The technical report will be issued within 15 business days, unless a prior mandatory report from other municipal services is required. In such cases, the 15-day period begins once the internal report has been received.
